Introductory Statistics for Data Analytics is one of five non-credit courses in the Certification in Practice of Data Analytics (CPDA) program. This course can be taken individually, or as one of four courses required to receive the CPDA certificate of completion. If you pursue the entire certification, this course must be taken first in the sequence.

  • Pre-Requisites: It is highly recommended that students have taken at least one college-level algebra course prior to this course.
    Students must know the R software program prior to taking the course. Several no-cost online training resources are available such as http://swirlstats.com/
  • Course Duration and Completion: Each course offered in this program operates with a specific start date and end date. Students must complete each course during a specific time frame. Access to the online course and materials is removed when the course ends. To successfully pass. the course, you must have an 80% or better on all assignments, quizzes, and projects.
  • Cancellation and Refund: If you cancel your registration no later than 3 weeks prior to your scheduled course, you will receive a full refund minus a $75 administrative fee. No refunds for cancellations made within 3 weeks of the scheduled start date.
